As the concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic have rapidly escalated, we are subject to the province of BC’s recommendation to cancel all events of over 50 people. We also received word from Vancouver Civic Theatres that they will be cancelling all events taking place at their venues until further notice, which includes the Vancouver Playhouse. Ultimately, this decision was made for us, but we do want to ensure the health and safety of our community. We know there will be many opportunities to share our beautiful artform with you in the future. 

 

The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival is a not for profit organization. Ticket sales from our showcases are our primary revenue source to help us invest in future productions of this event. The organizing team of this festival are all volunteers who invest hours of their time and knowledge to make this event happen. While we will offer refunds in light of the cancellation, we hope you consider donating your ticket purchase to the festival to support this organization for its future years, or by making a direct donation to the VIBFA.

 

We ask that you contact us should you require a refund at tickets@vibf.ca. Please keep in mind that we are only able to refund the ticket price and taxes but not the Eventbrite fees.
