Poster Artist
This is a contract position for the 2027 festival. The successful applicant will begin August 5th and complete our poster art by September 15, 2026.
The Poster Artist, working under the direction of our Graphic Designer, is responsible for creating the artwork to be integrated into our festival's annual poster and festival promotional items.
Finished piece of art will be due by September 15th, 2025.
Responsibilities

Artist will be expected to submit at least two drafts for feedback by the graphic designer; one in sketch phase 25-30% completion, and one at 75-80% completion.

Artist is expected to provide the artwork digitally, at high resolution, as it will be used for both print and web-based applications.

For ease of use, it is preferred that the artist will be able to provide the figure(s) (or foreground element), separately from the background.
Qualifications
We are interested in working with someone who is excited to help promote this festival.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Experience with arts, culture, or nonprofit social media is considered an asset

Experience with burlesque or adult arts is considered an asset
